Attention, working women: The 1950 s are back — at least in the description of one LinkedIn job listing.

The post, advertising an opening for a Content Writer& SEO Specialist for usage network design busines Vistra Inet, rolled talents one might imagine would be required for such its own position: “Writing aptitude, ” “Computer knowledge, ” “Knowledge of social media, ” “Superior managerial cleverness, ” “Ability to work independently and in coordination with a squad, ” etc.

But at the bottom of the announce, there was one curious convict: “Please note that the Position expects replenishing in the responsibilities of a receptionist, so female candidates are preferred.” ( Receive a screenshot of the affix, which has since been removed, below, as tweeted by Business Insider’s Caroline Moss .)

For some silly conclude we assumed abilities had no gender, and that in 2015 firms would realize that! Guess it was just wishful thinking.

Perhaps Vistra Inet need to see a reminder that both men and women can be receptionists — or doctors or therapists or solicitors or hair stylists or anything else.

The Huffington Post has reached out to Vistra Inet for comment.
